Riccione, from the Sixties up to now

Riccione is one of the most known tourist destinations in the Italian beach holiday landscape. Riccione beach, thanks to its meticulously well-run organisation and the professionalism and hospitality of its operators, has become famous all over the world. 41 rescue stations watch over the safety of tourists relaxing in the shade of 3,500 canopies and parasols or having fun at parties, doing sport activities and taking part in any kind of entertainment. Riccione has also a suggestive countryside which goes from the coast towards the Valconca. Beautiful excursions provide people with unforgettable landscapes, fortresses and castles rich of history to relive the atmosphere of the medieval Malatesta Dynasty and take part in many folk festivals, revivals and village fetes. A few kilometres far from here, you can visit also the Republic of San Marino, a land of ancient traditions and hospitality.
